Joey Truman is a writer, artist, and performer from Worland, Wyoming. He is the author of multiple books published by Whiskey Tit press including Postal Child, Killing The Math, KinderRinder, Killing the Math II, and Cooking Cockroach: A Guide To Modern Poverty.

His very recent book Sequestered was written during 83 days of lockdown in Bushwick, Brooklyn, during the early days of the Covid 19 pandemic in a one-bedroom apartment he shared with his partner, artist Tina Satter. Sequestered is a kind of companion piece to the newly released Etiquette, chronicling the micro-movements of living in New York City amongst the masses in the year prior to pandemic.

Joey is currently working on a serial called Donkey, an allegory for poverty and the American Dream in what still remains of America. He is currently living in Lower Granville, Vermont.
